"[Sarah, along with her son Davidee,] set up a private carving house or studio
on the bank of the [Inukjuak] River and spends part of each day there, carving
for sale to the co-operative and to fill mail orders received from southern
Canada. She signs her pieces in syllabics. As an added pastime she sews
distinctive [Inukjuak] dolls."*
Sarah is also the second wife of the well-known carver Abraham Nastapoka.
