In 1977, aided by Wally Brannen, supervisor of the lithography workshop at
Cape Dorset, and fellow Cape Dorset resident Jimmy Manning, Pitseolak
introduced the technique of lithography to Holman Island printmakers.

HONOURS, ACHIEVEMENTS and EVENTS: 1984 One of Pitseolak's sculptures was presented as a wedding gift to a Japanese
prince by the Canadian ambassador to Japan.
1992 Pitseolak participated as a speaker and panelist at the Inuit Art Conference
held at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in January.
1993 Taught one week sculpture workshop to non-Inuit students at the Ottawa
School of Art in July 1993. The workshop was co-taught by Uriash Puqiqnak of
Gjoa Haven, and marks the first time Inuit Sculptors have been hired as
professional instructors in a southern art school.
1994 Travelled to the opening of the Arctic Spirit exhibition at the Frye Museum
in Seattle, Washington.
