"Ohoveluk was born in 1935 at Rymer Point on the west coast of Victoria
Island. She is the granddaughter of Charlie Keengenberg, a Danish trader and
explorer who settled in the Arctic to live the life of the Inuit. A very
talented artist, Ohoveluk draws mostly late in the evenings or during the
night when her children are asleep. She has the gift of reviving with
extraordinary reality scenes of hunting and enjoys drawing difficult
compositions."
