Paulassie is the brother of artists Eegyvudluk, Kananginak, and Pudlat
Pootoogook. He is the son of the late Pootoogook (1887-1958). Paulassie is
married to graphic artist Ishuhungitok; his son Tookikalook is a carver, now
living in Iqaluit.
