Elijah Pootoogook is the son of the late graphic artist Etidlooie
Etidlooie (1911-1981), but was adopted by Sharni and Pudlat Pootoogook
(1919-1985), both artists as well. Elijah's sister Sarah Putuguk is an artist
and printer; his wife Iqarlik is a printer and carver.
