NUJALIAQ POOTOOGOOK 

     Born October 24, 1971   

      Resides and carves in Cape Dorset, Lower Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada.  

      Cape Dorset is one of the most productive communities for high quality stone    
      sculpture in the Arctic.      

      His parents are Cape Dorset artists Eegyvudluk and Napatchie Pootoogook.  
     An up and coming artist carving some very fine bears in creative poses.
