Description
Another in Lucy Tasseor’s ever-evolving family studies, this sculpture has more clearly delineated faces but her family still gazes out of, and is held together by, the rock they are carved from.We lost a great artist when Lucy died in May of (2012). Her carvings are instantly recognizable in their simplicity and quiet wisdom, harking back to a time and lifestyle fast fading from this frantically paced world. There will be no more calm faces coaxed from the rough grey basalt by her experienced hands.
