Basking Walrus

Here basks a beauty of a fully mature bull walrus. His wonderful, voluptuous body is sleepily laid out upon the ice for the sun’s rays to caress. Nuyaliaq has taken great care to incise the claws on the slumbering animals flippers, and the ivory tusks highlight the creamy veining and marbelling in his summer fattened body.
