Of her subject, Andrea, Francis says, “I have done five paintings of Andrea. This print is the third I painted, and (?.) we decided that ‘Witness’ would be a suitable title for this piece, for over the years (?.) she has witnessed my life journey through my work. (?.) I find her to be an exceptional woman, devastatingly beautiful, brilliant, with a great sense of humour and a style that is uniquely hers.” This limited edition silkscreen print titled “Witness” by Francis Dick was hand produced by the screen printing process. It is the only limited edition printing of this design. The artist has inspected and signed each copy in the edition. All trial copies of this edition have been destroyed and the printing stencils obliterated.
