Description

In late spring when people would start getting a lot of seals, they would make a bag out of sealskin and save all the seal blubber in it. They would cut the meat into pieces to dry it and stretch the skin to dry. In the fall, the blubber that was saved in the sealskin bag was used for fuel on the stone lamp.
