Seeking for Help

Description

Long ago when a person’s relatives died, they would try not to eat anything. Sometimes, when they did eat something, they had a hard time hunting. They would also get sick. The weather in spring would be bad and hunting was poor because there were no animals. There would be hardly any rain and so there was little vegetation. The animals would not be as fat as usual. When the people couldn’t do anything else, they would use their shamanism to get help. There were these two ladies who were using their shaman powers and when one of them grabbed some water, it finally began to rain. When they were dancing, life long ago was not easy.
