Description
In Prince Albert Sound, at a place called Halahegivik, there are flat stones and rocks placed up to form a fence. The stone or rocks resemble people. When Caribou are near, men and boys wait in pits hidden until the caribou are close enough to hit with wooden arrows tipped with copper points. The fences start miles back and women carefully steer the caribou towards the men.
