Description

Paul's sculpture looks as though it was formed from black licorice, and a sweet piece it is. Our shaman is sailing aloft on the winds, the horizontal lines in his hair and wings evoking the sound of the air rushing over and around him. He is a shaman carved in modern times yet his roots are anchored in legends from the past from where the ancestors can be called to protect and comfort their descendants. An ageless Inuit image in our present day and age.
